This is a question almost every parent asks, and the answer is different for every child.
ABA therapy isn’t meant to last forever. The goal is to teach skills that help your child become more independent over time. As your child learns new skills and becomes more successful in different environments, therapy changes with them.
Some children need more support in the beginning and gradually reduce their hours as they meet their goals. Others may benefit from services for a longer period depending on their individual needs.
Progress isn’t measured by how many hours your child receives. It’s measured by what they’re able to do because of those hours.
At C The World, we regularly review progress, update goals, and make sure therapy continues to meet your child’s needs. We celebrate every milestone because every new skill brings your child one step closer to greater independence.
Our goal has never been to keep children in therapy forever. Our goal is to help them gain the skills they need to succeed wherever life takes them.
